This doesn’t surprise me, but I do hope it brings light to others who when they think of the Arab Spring in succeeded countries like Egypt and Tunis they only think of “Islamists” and the MB. It shows in a way Libya is different. Each country had their own revolution, but Libya steps out to really set a barrier between its future and other Arab Spring country’s future.
Mostly this doesn’t surprise me because of the fact that Libya is already a completely Islamic country. If you’re Libyan, you’re Muslim. If you’re not Muslim in Libya, it’s sure you’re not Libyan. It’s a completely Islamic country. Most Libyans already hold tight to their Islamic beliefs so there is no need for an “Islamist” or MB-styled government to be held in Libya, and I’m sure they don’t find a reason to also.
