EDM (electronic dance music) is interesting - constantly coming up with new kind of orchestrations - but it’s just its lyrics sometimes go so simple romantic and - yikes

It can be like all recent new release can have OMG please no - kind of simple lyrics.

“Belaid has been particularly outspoken against the so-called “Committees to Protect the Revolution,” which many accuse of being behind the violence. These groups are believed to be affiliated with the Ennahda Party and say it is their mission to seek out remnants of the old regime.”

link» [Algeria Amenas Hostage] Operation ended, casualties information still conflicting

18 h 30: Washington, London and Tokyo have criticized Algerian intervention.

  • The Japanese government has called on Algeria to stop “immediately” its military operation.
  • Office Barack Obama said he was “ worried about the information on casualties “ human during this operation. “We’re trying to get clarification from the Algerian government “ , said the White House .
  • British Prime Minister David Cameron told his Algerian counterpart that he wished to be informed before the assault, did know Downing Street . He said he was “extremely worried” .

But Algerian govt/force went ahead without telling.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius told reporters in Brussels that he couldn’t discuss the “extremely dramatic situation” in Algeria:

“I’ll say right away that I can’t talk about the tragic events now unfolding in Algeria,” Fabius said. “There is contradictory information. I don’t have the latest information. … It’s an extremely dramatic situation that shows how terrorism is an absolute evil.”

According to Downing Street sources, Prime Minister David Cameron explicitly told the Algerians he wanted advanced warning of any military operation, but they ‘just went for it’.

Memo: (It’s like there is sorted out durable resource on Web but actually there isn’t…?)

  • Adab
  • Akhlaq
  • Fitrah

And for Adab and Akhlaq - (to read, or master) Shamaa-il Tirmidhi? (Hadiths re: noble character of the Prophet): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shamaail_Tirmidhi

And that was written by Tirmidhi (824 CE -892 CE): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tirmidhi

And Sahih Bukhari (Hadith collection) was by Muhammad al-Bukhari (810-870 CE).

[cf:The first revelation the Prophet Mohammed received was - August 610 CE.]

Chaos.

Why major Hadiths and their concise descriptions aren’t coming from more centralized resource. I’m hitting too many ‘localized?’ versions and internet forums and their characterization of what’s what and how it all works

So People Come From

different places. And - you hear - their stories. Stories about places where they are from.

Problem is - when you see - or become stuck with the impression of no positive, possible way out.

Sometimes - all the contours gathered and the conclusive pattern form inside of your head is -

Fuck there is possibly no way out of this

And wonder - if there were any way to avoid - coming to know such stories. (No not really.)

Solution maybe just like - Okay, we don’t tackle impossibles here. Just dodge/duck those.  And still not to lose bests and positives among us. And work to continue to do best.

History is a brutal thing. Well, what’s there is nothing but what some humans do to others.

Past

What do you mean by literature or text.

I just keep imagining we can print - put out text in at least several level of gradations. From solid black to thinner grays. May be like 2 tones, or 3 or 4.

I’ve been imagining this probably since I was very little.

But I never find that implemented in printed texts. (After computers, I come to see some similar way - but still, text is linear and singular and monotone thing. It’s all unified, solid black.)

Is text and literature made for letting us dash to better future or to keep us dragged back to past authorities and their cruel unjust judgment and punishments.

I feel all of us is just so duped once in a while.

What are we trying so damn hard? Eh?

“The Sephardim remain loyal to Likud, because it was the party where they made inroads as voters and members in the 1970s, he[Prof. Moishe Lissak] said. And it [Likud] still also offers, he said, the political messages they [Sephardim] enjoy: a strong nationalism, and no retreat from Israel`s occupied territories.”

Clearly, colorism in Indian has been around for centuries, but the more compelling question is why that anxiety has spiked recently among men.

But then, there is this documentary about Colorism/Shadism among Black/Afro-American community in USA etc - ‘Dark Girls’ - and release of the trailer has been sparking comment posts on Tumblr too. (Searching “Colorism” turns up many posts.)

  1. Then Colorism is coming from India (South Asia) - to MENA/Middle East - …?
  2. And also there has been a tradition of Colorism in Afro-American community?
  3. And maybe potentially other cultural sources
  4. And then commercialization/business starting to exploit people with income and social status concern? (psychologically vulnerable but also has money?) )

re: Met

Always overcrowded (I don’t know but it’s just like… zoo ) and worse,

  1. No food around
  2. Not even a decent coffee around (it always turn into ‘soul-searching’ trip, to find a cup)
  3. Ladies and girls queue up in gentlemen bathrooms (bathrooms are always in severe shortage) [while men pee, ladies and girls are like ‘we don’t know where to and what to look at’]

Hard to maintain tension there.

40 million spent on renovation for Islamic Gallery Reopening.

but probably they didn’t allow some decent coffee and Arab food/snack spots to pop up in the neighborhood.

It’s very sour&posh neighborhood, American style.

Her debut album Seasons of My Soul, due in November, looks set to be huge. And plaudits have been flying in from the likes of Elton John and Burt Bacharach, who asked Rumer over to tea during a recent trip to LA.
She dutifully obliged, but not before bursting into tears when she got the phone call. “I was so happy. You can’t get higher validation than that. It doesn’t matter if the record company thinks you’re good or if your family thinks your good or if your friends think you’re good. If Burt Bacharach says you’re good, it’s time to start believing in yourself.” (via Rumer: ‘If Burt Bacharach says you’re good, it’s time to start believing in yourself’ | Music | The Observer)
