Re: Ramadan

I only hear it’s either

  • 1. Intense - introspective focus (Religious, ethical/moral) etc
  • 2. Intense - food binging after dusk (Sorry, but that’s how I’ve mostly told about Ramadan.

‘Fasting? Heck no. We gain Weight. Food is actually better during Ramadan. Or - I think it can get real crazy.’ (One Bangladesh Muslim girl)

The point is - I can imagine either ways. Pray. Focus. Or. Family. Lot of food. Fun. Happiness.

But trying to imagine something in the middle - (Why? I don’t know) - piety, family/fun/happiness - well balanced? (Is that possible?)

Anyway, latter (food binging during Ramadan) seems/sounds real happy thing - always.

It’s ‘family’ thing.

Or even larger ‘community’ thing.
